Gene expression patterns in NK92 after 24 h co-culture with P. falciparum- iRBCs. Normalised expression patterns were derived from microarrays of NK92 cells after 24 hours co-culture with 3D7-iRBCs or uRBCs (1:3). Data were obtained from 3 biological replicates A. Only regulated genes with a fold-change ≥ 1.5 (p ≤ 0,05) are depicted. 167 genes were differentially expressed in the NK92 cells after co-culture with iRBCs, of which 85 genes were up-regulated and 82 down-regulated. However, there is a big overlap of 103 genes with NK92 cells co-cultured with uRBCs.
