Confocal microscopy demonstrates cell surface localization of ASB. Confocal microscopy demonstrates the presence of peripheral localization of ASB in the CVC, as well as cytoplasmic and nuclear localization. ASB is stained red, and β-actin is stained green (Panels A, B). In primary bronchial epithelial cells, exposure to chloroquine (50 nM × 24 hours) produced marked reduction in ASB fluorescent immunostaining (Panel C), compared to untreated control (Panel D).
