Higher burden of P. falciparum among children living in an IDP camp (black bars), compared to a neighbouring village (white bars). Results are based on community-based surveys of the IDP camp at Bilobilo (n = 200) and the neighbouring village of Mubi (n = 200), as well as a clinic-based survey of febrile children from the IDP camp (n = 100) and the village (n = 100). The prevalence of P. falciparum infection in the community and among febrile children attending a health clinic was significantly higher among IDP camp residents than village controls
