Characterization of cytophilic antibody responses. IgG1 (a) and IgG3 (b) antibody concentrations to EBA175RIII–VLl in asymptomatic children from Obom and Abura measured in the peak malaria season (July). Processes similar to that described in Fig. 3 were used to determine the concentrations and avidity of IgG1 and IgG3, the only difference was that goat anti-human IgG1 and goat anti-human IgG3 secondary antibodies were used in place of the goat anti-human IgG. The graphs represent the median antibody concentrations with interquartile range as error bars
