Descriptive data of rapid diagnostic test results, light microscopy and qPCR by all women tested, and and by those tested specifically for anaemia or symptomatic malaria criteria. Numbers are mean ± standard deviation, median [range], geometric mean (median; range) or  % (n). SPAZ-IPTp, intermittent preventive treatment with sulfadoxine-pyrimethamine plus azithromycin; HRP2, histidine-rich protein 2; pLDH, genus-specific lactate dehydrogenase
  2. * Includes 81 women that were tested for mild anaemia (Hb ≥90 and <110 g/L) or for other reasons
